Psa Eugenia Mihadaş Fallen Asleep in the Lord

Toronto ON [ROEA Chancery]  –  Preoteasa Eugenia Mihadaş, wife of the late Rev Fr Sterie Mihadaş, fell asleep in the Lord near her family in Toronto, Ontario.

Interment will be at the Saint Mary Cemetery at Vatra Românească in Grass Lake, Michigan, on Monday, November 1, at 1:00pm.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband, Fr Sterie, who preceded her in death in 1998.

Fr & Psa Mihadaş served communities in Greece before coming to North America in 1953, where they then served communities in Southbridge, Massachusetts, and Erie, Pennsylvania, until 1964.  They then moved to Ontario where Fr Sterie retired in 1967 and continued to assist in various parishes according to the need.
