With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel, on Sunday, May 17, 2026, the Sixth Sunday after Pascha, of the Healing of the Man Born Blind, His Grace Bishop Andrei of Cleveland, Auxiliary Bishop of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America, visited St. John of Wallachia Romanian Orthodox Parish in Ridgewood, New Jersey, where he officiated the Holy and Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the parish’s founding.
Assisting His Grace at the Divine Liturgy were the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Daniel Cornel Bălan, together with visiting clergy.
During this blessed celebration, His Grace was joined by Mrs. Simona Florea, Consul General of Romania in New York, together with members of the Romanian community in New Jersey and the faithful of the parish.

Vizită pastorală la Parohia Ortodoxă Română „Sfântul Ioan Valahul” din Ridgewood, New Jersey
Cu binecuvântarea Înaltpreasfințitului Părinte Arhiepiscop Nathaniel, duminică, 17 mai 2026, în Duminica a VI-a după Sfintele Paști, a Vindecării orbului din naștere, Preasfințitul Părinte Andrei de Cleveland, Episcop-Vicar al Episcopiei Ortodoxe Române din America, s-a aflat în mijlocul credincioșilor Parohiei Ortodoxe Române „Sfântul Ioan Valahul” din Ridgewood, New Jersey, unde a săvârșit Sfânta și Dumnezeiasca Liturghie, cu ocazia împlinirii a 15 ani de la înființare.
Alături de Preasfinția Sa la Sfânta Liturghie au slujit părintele paroh, PC. Pr. Daniel Cornel Bălan, împreună cu preoți invitați.
La această binecuvântată sărbătoare a fost prezentă și doamna Simona Florea, Consulul General al României la New York, alături de membri ai comunității românești din New Jersey și credincioșii parohiei.
