During his visit to South Florida, June 5–7, 2026, on the occasion of the 78th Annual ARFORA Congress, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel honored the memory of several faithful servants and benefactors of the Church through memorial services.
At Holy Trinity Romanian Orthodox Parish in Miramar, Florida, His Eminence officiated a Parastas (Memorial) Service for Corneliu Bota and Rucsanda Sârbu de Bota, principal benefactors of the parish and devoted supporters of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America. Through their generosity, they offered significant support for the establishment and development of the parish church. They are laid to rest on the parish grounds.
His Eminence also visited Vista Memorial Gardens in Miami Lakes, Florida, where he officiated a Parastas for the late Bishop Mark (Forsberg), Former Bishop of Boston of the Orthodox Church in America, honoring his blessed memory and faithful service to the Holy Church.
Bishop Mark was a devoted hierarch and a close friend of His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel, maintaining a special bond with the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America. Following his reception into the Romanian Episcopate, he served for a time as parish priest of Saint Thomas Orthodox Parish in St. Louis, Missouri.
Consecrated to the episcopacy on November 10, 1979, Bishop Mark served the Orthodox Church in America in several episcopal assignments. He retired on March 21, 2001, bearing the title Former Bishop of Boston. He reposed in the Lord on January 8, 2018, and is laid to rest in the Orthodox section of Vista Memorial Gardens.

Înaltpreasfințitul Părinte Arhiepiscop Nathaniel a săvârșit mai multe slujbe de pomenire în Florida de Sud
În timpul vizitei sale în Florida de Sud, în perioada 5–7 iunie 2026, cu prilejul celui de-al 78-lea Congres anual ARFORA, Înaltpreasfințitul Părinte Arhiepiscop Nathaniel a săvârșit slujbe de pomenire pentru mai mulți slujitori și binefăcători ai Bisericii.
La Parohia Ortodoxă Română „Sfânta Treime” din Miramar, Florida, Înaltpreasfinția Sa a săvârșit o slujbă de Parastas pentru Corneliu Bota și Rucsanda Sârbu de Bota, principalii binefăcători ai parohiei și susținători devotați ai Episcopiei Ortodoxe Române din America. Prin generozitatea lor, aceștia au oferit un sprijin important pentru întemeierea și dezvoltarea bisericii parohiale. Ei sunt înmormântați în incinta parohiei.

Hirotonit întru arhiereu la 10 noiembrie 1979, Episcopul Mark a îndeplinit mai multe responsabilități în cadrul Bisericii Ortodoxe din America. S-a pensionat la 21 martie 2001, purtând titlul de fost Episcop de Boston. A trecut la Domnul la 8 ianuarie 2018 și este înmormântat în secțiunea ortodoxă a cimitirului Vista Memorial Gardens.
